The Fog (1980)

 On February 8th, 1980, The Fog was released nationwide after a limited released at the beginning of the month. 

Directed by Halloween franchise creator John Carpenter and co-written by Debra Hill and edited by Tommy Lee Wallace.

Debra Hill

 Debra Hill was born in Haddonfield, NJ on November 10th, 1950. 

Debra Hill (1950-2005)

The producer and writer worked on many classic films such as The Dead Zone (1983), Clue, Adventures in Babysitting and Big Top Pee Wee. 

Hill and Carpenter

She often collaborated with John Carpenter on films such as Escape From New York, Escape from LA and The Fog (1980). Together they developed the original Halloween film as co-writer’s and Hill produced the first three movies of the franchise.
